Two geese on a rooftop

standing 'round two feet apart
looking o’er the pond’s edge
straining feet while they talk
whopping calls to each other
as the daylight does rise
two Geese on a rooftop
gestures folded, they … apprise;
upon the lone wolf- dog below them
who with agility does wait
for the two geese to falter
and “ make him his day.”
